MA ANANDMAYI ASHRAM was a very famous saint of India who was worshiped by many great saints. Father Mr. Bipin Bihari Bhattacharya and mother Mokshada Sundari used to call him by the name Nirmala in his childhood. His father was a Vishnu worshipper, and was proficient in hymns, did not have worldly wealth. Nirmala studied in a rural school for two years. Rich in talent, she started from childhood. Without teaching, she used to worship God with Vedic pickles, something happened that she used to talk to divine Gods inside. Indira Gandhi came to Haridwar even when mother Anandamayi left her body in the year 1982. The work of mausoleum of mother Anandamayi was completed by his own hands.
